In my opinion not enough concern has been raised over this NET SCHOOL SPENDING snafoo. To make things simple I'll go with the 7 MILLION dollar number to represent the shortfall since that is probably the amount we might get penalized. Don't forget the real amount is around 15.7 MIL but I don't speak auditor. To help out I will point out a couple of scebarios to get you thinking.
1). The 7 Mull number translates into about 116 teachers @ 60 K per position. Needless to say that will affect teacher to student ratios.
2). We could close down ABORN and SHOEMAKER elementary schools down completelt and BUS the kids to COBBETT and TRACY. You think classes are crowded now!
3). That's about a cool MIL more than all the TITLE 1 money At least we wouldn't have to worry those pesky parents wanting their due!
