People who have been working in the Ingalls garden don't have to worry if the at the former dump site any low level radioactive waste, like from hospitals, was disposed at the site because any radioactivity will probably shielded from your body due to the protection of the lead in the dirt under your fingernails or on your knees from working the soil.
The "cover-up" started in 2005 when 18" of soil was brought in to "seal" of the garden. (I thought when you actually SEAL something off, you cover ALL sides, BUT WHAT DO I KNOW? I'M JUST A POOR, DISABLED POET.) Obviously the FOOD PROJECT must have some questions about the effectiveness of their solution if as reported they keep bringing in more dirt.
Come on, LSC, make them TEST IT INDEPENDENTLY and make public the results. I tell you right now I want it to come back good. Too many lives, young lives are at stake. Chemical contamination is a serious thing. I had a chemistry professor in college who got his graduate degree from Cornell always graded our lab reports on the floor on top of old newspapers. He always went on the premise our lab tops were covered with "Sheep Dip". Chemicals are Baaaaad news.
