Call me crazy (that's nicer than what some people call me) but Dr. Latham's assurance that the machine shop won't be dismantled until she hears from LVTI Alumni President Ron Beckett's plan to save the program wasn't too reassuring. After all, she alluded to the fact that nothing will happen until they get back the architect's report on how the new pre-engineering program fits into the building.
Sounds to me their mind's made up whether or not Mr. Beckett is invited for tea or not. I bet Mr. Bennett won't charge for his ideas. Can the architect say that?
How about that study on the Bennett St. property? How much did that cost? When is the administration moving their offices there? Somebody Got Paid. A "study" was contacted but nothing has happened. At least they can pretend to listen to Mr. Beckett and it won't affect the balance sheet.
