  1. Wouldn't it be nice if I could actually attend an open house and talk to my child s,teahcher instead of all this grandstanding? I believe this is one of the contractual parent teacher nights , sad it isn't handled correctly for us parents.

  2. Obviously you were never there. Shucks you probably aren't even a parent. Teachers met with parents, hundreds of them What tou call grandstanding I see as coordination. Also it didn't cost mo RACE TO THE TOP MONEY. I was a little disappointed though, I was looking forward to PIZZA and there was none!

  3. I was there after I wrote the above comment, how can I talk to my kids teachers when I can't find them and the crowd . Other schools have more private parent night or the teachers explain what they do, this was a show.

    1. The teachers were not IN the crowds, they were in their classroom.

  4. Why do u always do that , have a negative remark when someone disagrees with you. How that hundreds of people in attendance at a rally equate a parent teacher nights. It is impossible .

  5. Obviously you have NO idea what you are talking about if you called d then were what happened last night a RALLY. The parents met with their child's teacher, signed a proof of attendance and then were treated to performances by the FORD SCHOOL CHOIR, KAYA break dancers, and the PANJAMMERS, a new steel drum program coming to the school. All of this community involvement didn't cost ANY of that RACE TO THE TOP money that has been squandered under this administration.

  7. I am a parent who went and got to see and TALK to both of my children's teachers. The teachers were in the classrooms and you just had to wait your turn to talk to them. The teachers I have talked to over the years have never rushed a single parent through anything.
