WHOA THERE GARDY, BEFORE YOU BLAME THE PARENTS

No one is disappointed by last night's than me. The truth of the matter is that yeah, maybe LPS did enough to get the word out. Flyers were sent home, notives were posted and heck I even wrote a poem.

Well then, let's look at other matters like say maybe the fact that the meeting was in the back of the building and just seemed hard for us old people to get to. Signs would have been nice. I mean if someone would have been having a yard sale, the location would have been easier to find. Hey, up in the HIGHLANDS, we plaster the telephone poles and put fliers in mailboxes.

JUST A THOUGHT!

  1. The fact it was on the same night as Mayors fundraiser didn't help either.I think most people didn't bother showing up because they do not live near the site so it doesn't impact them, they knew nothing new would be said, and because they already know if they are going to vote yes or no on the issue. My guess is NO!Property taxes are already too high in this city. Now the city is requesting and getting million dollar bonds every where we turn which we taxpayers will have to pay for.Let's not forget we taxpayers already dished out millions for Classical and will still have to dish money out for this project for the next 100 years. This city picked a bad time to build a new school and ask taxpayers who can barely afford to survive as it is to pay even more money.

    1. You are a wise sage. Unfortunately, we are still going to NEED a school. Din;t forget, RON MENDES who is running for councilor in that WARD had a fundraiser last night as well. Talk about timing.
