It is time to face facts so that we can effectively address the looming financial crisis that confronts the Lynn Public Schools. Already behind millions of dollars in Net School Spending, straddled with a 92 million dollar bond for building a new school, and the loss of even more revenue with expansion of charter schools, the days of ignoring the problems of our EDUCATIONAL system need to be over. Kicking the can further down the road just guarantees misdirection and guarantees that we will remain lost. How can we ever expect to find solutions when we refuse to see the problems.

Obstacles are not overcome by denying their presence. Objectivity is is necessary to insure the clear thinking that will provide the hope for a quality EDUCATION
