How many times have you been told we are okay fiscally only to be "surprised" by yet another crisis?YOU CHOOSE: HIGHER TAXES OR SERVICE CUTS?

"The schools will not be affected by the cuts." That's because the city has already been depriving the schools year after year and now owes them something like $10 million.
ReplyDeleteI wonder what the Mayor would consider a financial crisis? When she gets the receivership notice in the mail?
Remember they owed the schools almost twice as much before the Mayor got Lt. Polito's help to pencil whip and strong arm the DESE to accept a deal that they haven't even lived up to.
