What's happening in the city no longer a joke
Crime goes up while the schools go broke.
While the Mayor's salary almost did double
Shootings in the streets signal the trouble.
When in comes out in the budget report
It seems everywhere they come up short.
Now's not the time to fear
After all the election's this year!
