The MAYOR was clearly caught by surprise at the LSC meeting last Thursday night when LSC member DONNA COPPOLA, who is quite often on the losing end of the 4 - 3 vote on many of the critical issuess the MAYOR supports. DONNA praised the MAYOR for taking the iniative and moving forward on trying to replace our aging school buildings.
MS. COPPOLA had stated the the previous administration had been unwilling to consider that. If my memory serves me correctly, there was once something said by someone about not building any neww schools until hair grows on their bald head.
