How Come NO MENTION of the fact that the school department's budget was in today's paper? It was on the last night's council meeting's agenda. I wasn't at the meeting, my wife says I go to too many meetings.
Surely the fact that the school department makes up half the city's budget must mean it's important enough. How are we ever going to do better if we don't raise the level of attention we pay to our PROBLEMS.
The School Budget was not presented at Tuesday's meeting of the council as a "Committee of the Whole." It was mentioned then that it would be ready by today.
