MIT Lynn girls STEM from GE

As we celebrate this modern accomplishment for learning in Lynn I saddened by the future in this area. We are losing a great deal of STEM education throughout Lynnn with the loss of the KnowAtom program which helped ALL Lynn students 3 - 8 (I learned the actual grades from a reader) and LPS will be left with an UNPROVEN POWERPOINT PRESENTATION and a dog and pony show for kids in one school by SCIENCE from SCIENTISTS who to there credit have had students actually taste science by their consumption of dry ice (Don't worry WASHINGTON SCHOOL parents).

It's kind of ironic that GE was involved in a pilot program that introduce KnowAtom to LPS. Given what is happening to one of their other initiatives, I sure hope GE doesn't sour on LPS. I am sure they were thrilled when their earlier pilot programs was adopted. There had to be a sense of corporate pride. This KA loss may well be seen as a proverbial slap in the face. Good luck in the future LPS squeezing money out of them by trying o convince them to do your job.
