I have to say I was deeply disappointed in last Thursday' night's LSC meeting. I was fully expecting a real BENNETT STREET BROUHAHA. I got my hair cut and everything. I wanted to look my best for the camera.
TURNED OUT TO HAVE ALL THE EXCITEMENT OF WATCHING A FISHING DERBY ON SOME "PUBLIC ACCESS" CHANNEL.
That's because they all seemed to be willing to swallow whatever MR. CARON was saying hook, line, and sinker despite the DESE saying otherwise and they are the ones holding the money. Well, he was wearing "boat" shoes!
I was surprised that CHUCK didn't pounce on the many problems with the budget including the missing $300,000 from last years science budget and the $300 K slush fund set up for elementary science this year set up to experiment with our kids future.
Stanley, a little birdie told me that Claire Crane purchased a home in Lynn. I REALLY hope that one of the reasons for this purchase is so she can run for school committee. If you have any contact with her, maybe you can tell her that I am SURE she would be elected!!! Wouldn't that be amazing tv to see her and Latham "discuss" the budget and all other issues???
