LYS Spring Travel Soccer Deadline is  Monday December 15, 2013

Travel soccer plays its games on Saturday for 8 to 13 year olds. 4 home games and 4 away.  Most travel players 8 -13 who played in Fall 2014 are already registered for Spring 2015, but all players should check to make sure. There are a limited amount of vacancies on these teams.  14 to 18 year olds play 6 games on Sundays.  U 18 and U 16 players cannot be rostered on both a LYS Travel Team and a "club" team during the season. All travel teams are gender specific, girls or boys.  Players born between 8/1/1995 and 7/31/2006 are eligible. 

Travel registration cost, $85.   $35 for a uniform if your child doesn't have the new, larger logo, shirt yet. $20 for just the shirt, the socks and shorts have not changed and can be reused.

When players reach 10 or 11 years old, teams will be constructed according to skill, attitude, dedication and athleticism within their single year age group. We evaluate players during the season with input from the coaches, British trainers, High School coaches and the Travel Department. Registering for Travel soccer does not guarantee a spot on a team, but every effort will be made to place all players on teams. Registering on time may be taken into consideration when setting rosters. New players may be asked to attend an evaluation. Eligible players not rostered will be referred to intramural or given a full refund.
