SCHOOL SECURITY SAVED FROM BEING STIFLED?

As strange as it seems, the biggest concern for security is making sure you have left the building. Prior to last LSC meeting there was no districtwide policy about trading licenses for name tags.
So theoretically someone could leave or STAY without anyone knowing.

Currently there are two systems. In one there are about seven new machines that scans a icture ID and roduces a badge (It is also capable of taking a pic if necessary). All kinds of reports can be generated from the info taken. Then the rest of the schools have the old visitor badges on layerns that the office passes out. The newer machines cost about $7000 and it is hoped to eventually have one for every school.
