Clearly there must have been some discussion on how much LPS would pay towards the cost for this. The actual cost would be the same for the employee regardless of their pay grade so the same rate would be bigger for a lunch aide than an administrator.
Think about this: I hear the overall cost for this is in the tens of thousands. . . . but the cost for a potential lawsuit could leave the city liable for MILLIONS if some pervert slipped through the hiring process and molested some student.
The LPS needs to pony up and pay for this to get done.
