  1. Lynn needs to get a grip. Raising the charter school cap in inevitable. It is going to happen so deal with it and stop claiming it takes money away from the public schools because it does not. The money goes with the student. If a student goes to a charter school then that is where the money will go. Why should the public schools get money for students who don't attend them? If public schools don't want competition, then they should provide an appropriate learning environment and quality education to their students and be high performing.

    1. I have say that you are somewhat right. Not that I agree with you on the value of charters, cause they are ultimately an educational ponzi scheme but I do agree that the raising of the cap is inevitable. TThe traditional public school system is being attacked on two sides - from the legislature and the courts. I believe they will lose one or the other. I hear the former dean of TRUMP University is available to be somebody's headmaster.

  3. True, but he is busy. Mostly living up to his campaign promise. He stated clearly his opposition to charters. We have some disagreements but I have found him to be a man of his word. Much like former LSC member RICK STARBARD. We didn't always agree but you knew where he stood.
