Dr.
Latham,
I am
writing to let you know I found your very public meltdown and attack on me not
only insulting, demeaning, and quite possibly criminal. I felt you tried to
pressure me into falsely admitting an attempt to impute the character of a Lynn
Public Schools employee when all I did was re-post a picture that LPS had
already published in the LYNN EDUCATOR which had been distributed to thousands.
It
seemed when I failed to give you the false admission you wanted, your rhetoric
escalated from implying that certain people have contacted an attorney to go
after me to insinuating the release of some bombshell allegation from anonymous
source that would shame me into submission. Unlike you, I cite my source.
Last
night you referred to my living in a “glass house” apparently casting
aspersions to a dark and seedy lifestyle. That was not entirely incorrect, I do
sort of live in a “glass house” because much of my life is on public display to
be found at Salem Probate Court. Believe me, the details are both dramatic and
tragic. A few years ago I bumped into Attorney Mihos there while I was
researching for a filing or an appearance. I am quite sure he could provide you
with directions.
I felt your
anger last night you came precariously close to divulging information that you
have a legal obligation to keep private and confidential. This letter is not
the venue to delve into the specifics surrounding your possible breaches.
Suffice it to say your public performance in front of some members of the upper
LPS administration and also some members of the Lynn School Committee I found
very hurtful and damaging.
Although
I feel there can not be adequate compensation for the pain caused to me from
your character assassination of me, I may be exploring some sort of
retribution. I’ll be in touch.
Sincerely,
Stan
