ReplyDeleteThese school districts do differ from Lynn. They are significantly smaller and the local contribution is expected to be about 50%. Lynn gets about 75% of its aid from the state and is expected to only contribute about 25%, which as we know, has not been happening. It would be interesting to know what these school committees and others, including Lynn's, consider to be adequate Chapter 70 funding.

DeleteAnother difference between these districts and Lynn is that these municipalities all exceed their NSS requirement, some by several millions.
