Twas the night before DOOMSDAY and all LPS employees did scramble.
Trying to prove to the END-OF-YEAR reports there existed a PREAMBLE.
Through boxes and closets CATHE and KEVIN did dig
In hopes of finding an old letter with a STATE offical's sig.
"All IS NOT LOST" the MAYOR did say,
"I MIGHT HAVE A COPY SOMEWHERE PACKED AWAY"
The fact of the matter is by the rules we must play
Or WATCH our CHAPTER
