Dear Mayor Kennedy,

I am writing to let you know that I find it totally unacceptable that a 2016 LPS budget was 

submitted and approved by LSC for the purposes of a public hearing that doesn't account 

for some $300,000 spent last year for elementary science The confusion around these

expenditures may well be an oversight but their absence cast a shadow over the integrity 

of the whole process.

Given the numerous financial discrepancies surrounding the school budget and the bet
school spending requirements I am calling for an independent audit of school related 
finances. Doing so would alleviate a number of peoples legitimate concern about whether 
or not proper spending practices have been followed.

An open and honest investigation is the only way to resolve this issue. I welcome your
speedy response and look forward to public and credible assurances.
