WING AND A PRAYER

Listen carefully to what was said last night at the LSC meeting! We need a WAIVER for our WAIVER. When talking about the laundry list of projects to be completed by ISD we were told one of them was the purchase of TWO portable classrooms (FOR ABOUT $500,000 I BELIEVE)  for TRACY ELEMENTARY.

Purchase or rental of classrooms does not normally count toward NSS but DR. LATHAM said she had been talking with DESE Finance guy JAY WOLFE and hoped that with LSC approval of the use of funds that another WAIVER would be granted that would suddenly allow the purchase to count. 

I PERCEIVED (remember I AIN'T NO LAWYER) that prayer was used as a recruiting tool to get enough converts to pass the plan and finalize the conversion to the new religion of finances.
