COUNCILPERSON DIANE CHAKOUTIS ON COMMUNITY
I think it's kind of IRONIC that I think DTL is a part of that WARD and for all their talk of wanting community involvement and demanding political responsiveness that the residents are so apathetic..
Who the heck did she talk to in DTL that was so apathetic? I'm a downtown resident and I find her comments confusing...mostly because I never even heard of this effort. Maybe she got five people to show up because she didn't advertise the meetings well and because she's way more interested in supporting Pine Hill than DTL. Way to blame the residents of her ward for her own ineffectiveness.
