At the last school committee meeting all the members signed off on a non-binding resolution to be sent to Boston that stprated the LSC's opposition to lifting the cap on Charter Schools. Everyone had talked about it previously but you know all procedural hoops you have to jump through. This kind of stuff takes time
So I was kinda surprised Attorney Mihos didn't jump in protest when it was agreed that DR. LATHAM would take the letter to the MAYOR to sign since she left the meeting for who knows why and wasn't there to do so in public.
I AIN'T NO LAWYER but I believe doing so would VIOLATE some kind of OPEN MEETING law. Maybe not, I mean there were real lawyers around and everybody knows they always follow the law.
