Had HONG not delayed the slaughter with his chronic politeness the damage could have been much worse. No only did HONG pick up the stray, uncaught birds to return to a NAVS staff member, he also returned each chicken as it was captured. WHO DOES THAT?
Nonetheless CAHILL cried foul over the fallen fowl and started whining about the unfair name advantage NET had and how if he would have worn his golf shoes maybe he wouldn't have fell to the artificial turf. A turf mind you he helped put there by championing a bond, along with councilman/state legislator BRENDAN CRIGHTON, whose proceeds helped replace the old turf with the SPIRIT LOGO.
In what may have been an attempt to bribe his way to victory, CAHILL shared in secret (Okay, it wasn't a secret but I had an opportunity for some alliteration and I took it. Is that so bad?). It turns out that sometime next year $700,000 in improvements are coming to FRASER FIELD from a combination of $400,000 in left-over bond money and $300,000 in new grant money. So not only will the NAVS end up with a nicer place to play so will all the schools who call FRASER home. That would be all of them.
