Dear Dr. Latham and Mayor Kennedy,
I am hearing troubling things about the destruction of Ford School garden
by bulldozer Monday morning. Since my understanding that the city has
jurisdiction over what happens outside of the school buildings, you equally
share in this travesty.

The utter devastation in what has become a fixture in the Highlands community
is unthinkable given the long history of community involvement and past political
support. Taking such drastic action without so much as a public hearing before
council or an opportunity to go to an open mic before a school committee meeting
seems a bit disrespectful to the citizens of the Highlands and a most cavalier attitude
from our elected officials.

Well perhaps it is symbolic that such an injustice is happening to a our beloved garden,
you know what they say, "You shall reap what you sow!".

I still am sad about the day the bulldozer destroyed the garden. That was a vendetta against the Highlands Coalition and Dr. Crane.
