- at 7:00pm
Sorry for the postponement before. We are on for August 21st!
Please join School of Rock Lynn along with the Lynn Museum as we host our FREE Summer movie + Performance in the Lynn Museum Courtyard Friday August 21st at 7:00pm. Please bring your blanket, chair**, comfy clothes and enjoy a beautiful Summer night and movie with us.
School of Rock Lynn will start the night off with a quick 20 minute performance by our students followed by a showing of the movie School of Rock starring Jack Black starting at 7:30pm
School of Rock PG-13
Overly enthusiastic guitarist Dewey Finn (Jack Black) gets thrown out of his bar band and finds himself in desperate need of work. Posing as a substitute music teacher at an elite private elementary school, he exposes his students to the hard rock gods he idolizes and emulates — much to the consternation of the uptight principal (Joan Cusack). As he gets his privileged and precocious charges in touch with their inner rock ‘n’ roll animals, he imagines redemption at a local Battle of the Bands.
Concessions including soda, water, popcorn & candy will be available for sale at the event.
**Beach/Basket chairs will be allowed but limited to the back of the seating area to avoid blocking anyones view sitting on the ground.
