JARED GOES TO BAT FOR THE MAT

Wow, I woke up this morning to an inbox containing an email from LSC candidate JARED NICHOLSON concerning an issue we discussed last night at the NAVS game. I am not used to get that quick of a response from a political persona. Excuse any typos in this story, I think my fingers are suffering from some sort of whiplash from the quick response. Heck it is rare that I ever even get a response. Granted he has a strong personal connection to the topic, a history if you will, but still I am amazed at the short time it took to pin this story down.

As a former DIV 1 athlete showed me that he was more than just a head of great hair. His perfectly coiffed top even evoked pangs of jealousy from COUNCIL PRESIDENT DAN CAHILL because of JARED'S locks. Anyway JARED told me of a presentation he helped recently put on at MARSHALL school where students learned some basic techniques of student grappling with this new subject.

Getting a quick grasp on what was involved, helping get a lot of kids involved in a LOW-COST sport that builds self-esteem and more importantly self discipline, I expressed my desire to help him promote this position. Well before I knew what hit me I was looking at a newspaper clip of his recent efforts. That was quick, well lucky for me he's not in my weight class.
