A SEWELL SALUTE

A message from the principal’s office
I would like to take this opportunity to say hello to returning parents and new parents. I am very excited to be the new Principal of such a fabulous school. I am a Lynn native and have taught in the Lynn Public Schools since 1982! Over the course of the years I have participated in many leadership teams, provided professional development for both teachers and paraprofessionals and I have implemented many new initiatives. I also have experience working with the many outside agency’s where our children spend their time in the afternoons.
Sewell Anderson established TAKE HOME TUESDAYS where all important notices & information will be sent home that day. This will be an excellent opportunity for me to send home a LETTER TO PARENTS.
This school year we are initiating the SEWELL ANDERSON CODE OF CONDUCT. We recite it together each morning after the salute to the flag. A copy of the CODE OF CONDUCT was sent home yesterday so parents can be on board. There is also a letter that teachers will fill out and send home on the occasions that you child continuously has difficulty following the school’s expectations. Please take a moment to review the Sewell – Anderson Behavior Expectations with you child. Your commitment in working together as a learning community is greatly appreciated!
Our first APPT meetings will be Sep 29th for grades k, 2 & 4 and Sep 30th for grades 1, 3 & 5. I look forward to seeing you then.
Sincerely, Miss Panagopoulos
