NORMALLY I WOULD SHOW A LITTLE MORE DISCRETION IN DISCLOSING NAME, YOU KNOW THEY SAY THAT DISCRETION IS THE BETTER PART OF VALOR AND WELL A LOT OF PEOPLE WOULD SAY THAT'S A QUALITY I'M PRETTY SHORT IN.

And besides the whole ordeal has already played out on LynnCam (who have their own mess)besides this BATISTA BEAT DOWN has been going on for a couple, three years or so, so I wouldn't be disclosing any secrets or breaking any confidentiality's.

I met the family at a LSC committee meeting when the saga all began when they were called in to DEFEND their CURRICULUM. Now since I had been going to LSC meetings I had NEVER seen this done. It was always just rubber stamped. However back in the day CHUCK had other political aspirations and was probably trying to make a name for himself so it appeared he tried to position himself as a self-proclaimed protector of educational virtues. DONNA COPPOLA was adamant that the parents had the right to HOME SCHOOL and the ED REFORM LAW said we had to let them. ATTORNEY MIHOS was pretty mum on the whole deal at the time. I would guess it was something along the line if you don't say anything you can't be wrong or held responsible.

The date was set for a public flogging but the date didn't go quite as planned. They were homeschooling 5 kids I think and admiration for this gargantuan task was feigned at least. Well the mother who took the point in the persecution though both parents were actually both involved in the schooling. As both parents were disabled so they had plenty of time to devote attention to the educational objectives. Remember I said they both belong to circles I run in. Okay I can't run but that's the point of the our closed community.

WE WOULD STAND TALL BUT STANDING CAN BE A PROBLEM FOR ANY LENGTH OF TIME ANYWAY.

It turns out the LSC was overwhelmed with all of the extensive documentation and the detailed organization. Public professions of admiration were all around. Still DR. LATHAM wanted an UNPRECEDENTED and quite possibly ILLEGAL mid-year review for a curriculum check.. In the interest of cooperation DR. LATHAM's wish was complied with but in the meantime, the mother lawyered up to insure protection of her rights. Those HOME SCHOOL HEROES have all banded together to not only share curriculum and social stuff but have a collection for protection.

Well things kind of went along smoothly after that public flogging until this year. This time there is one less student to be home schooled leaving a total of FOUR. Playing a peacemaker of sorts the MAYOR pulled a procedural move separating the three UNCONTESTED plans from the FOURTH. Ignoring the warnings of counsel (that would be ATTORNEY MIHOS who told her the law is pretty clear, parents have the tight to educate their children) DR. LATHAM proceeded to call them in.

I don't know if there will ever actually be a meeting of the minds but I do know lawyers will be involved and LPS will lose again. I have to wonder if it is the fact the parents involved are disabled if all of this is the carrying out of some VICARIOUS VENDETTA against me (IF YOU HAVEN'T HEARD, I AM ALSO DISABLED, REAL BAD LIKE). So the story goes, the saga continues.
