RICK ON REMOVAL OF ART

Stan,

I did not know that it was being painted over. I have sent an email to admin following
your email. While I am aware of the mural, I cannot speak for the condition of it or
whether or not it needed to be painted. If it was in good shape, I can certainly
understand why anyone, especially those that helped to create it would be upset by
removing it.
Thanks,
Rick Starbard

Rick,

Thank you for your quick response to me and the pro-active steps you have taken. I have NO doubt
you were excluded from the small circle of people who made the decision. However, I do want to
strongly point out that the"condition" it was in is strongly subjective and anyone can alter their
perception to justify their decision.

The larger point is that some sort of public discussion should have been held before such wanton
desecration.

Stan
