The National Association of Music Merchants (NAMM) included Lynn Public Schools in a list of 476 districts demonstrating commitment to music education.
Yeah we once again made the list -
The Best Communities Music Education designation is awarded to districts that demonstrate outstanding achievement in efforts to provide music access and education to all students.
DR. LATHAM even reference the ITEM article yesterday denoting the accomplishment!
AWARD IS MUSIC TO LYNN EARS
GOOD JOB!
Funny thing though, in the past DR. PICANO has always been there graciously taking bows and giving appropriate if measured kudos to DR. LATHAM for this prestigious award. Last night he was absent, hmm. Probably just a scheduling conflict.
But then there are rumors floating around out there about his retirement. I hope not because that would be a TRAGIC loss for LPS. Still they are out there and I have heard from multiple sources. Curious.
Couple that last night with the announcement of the addition of a new PROGRAM SPECIALIST for FINE ARTS
Finally JOE gets the help he deserves
Funny though JOE wasn't there for that either. Was it a question of:
YOU DON'T ALWAYS GET WHAT YOU WANT BUT WHAT I SAY YOU NEED?
I do hear things. I don't know. Well DR. LATHAM is a MATH person and 1 + 1= 2 don't you know.
