City seeking student sanctuary
I am sure the symbolism makes some people sleep a little easier. I'm all for that. In fact I even had a wife once, the first one, who thought sleeping should be an Olympic sport.
BUT. . .,
you know what is also a symbol? A flashing light to identify danger up ahead or the screaming sound of a smoke detector to alert you of a possible fire.
In LPS's case we have the MAYOR going around on national TV, newspapers, or anyone who will listen to blame all our problems on refugees (unaccompanied minors) and questioning their legal status. Anything to attract the attention of, I don't know,ICE agents.
IT JUST SEEMS KIND OF HYPOCRITICAL TO ME.
