COLLEGE READY EARLY

DR. LATHAM told of a super successful collaboration with NORTH SHORE COMMUNITY COLLEGE, COMMUNIVERSITY.In this program some 140 LPS students got a taste of college while at the same time balancing it with the high school life that they lead. In the photo on the left,the good doctor is setting up the the display of the video testimonial of some LYNN CLASSICAL students. LYNN ENGLISH had produced one as well but since it was about twice as long and since everybody is always in a rush to get out of there, no need to guess which one got shown.

Anyway the people at NSCC said that the LPS students had a better success rate than their own students. No one predicted such a resounding success. Not only did our students face the test of college levl courses but had access to the library, the entire campus and all its facilities. Not only are the colllege credits good at of course NSCC but transferable to many other institutions like SALEM STATE UNIVERSITY. The lessons learned about the experiance of college life, like how crucial time manageement is, are transferable everywhere.

Since he was able to attend the closing ceremony this academic year for the program representing the LSC, ATTORNEY JARED NICHOLSON gave a brief overview of it, then turning it over to DOCTOR LATHAM to show the video evidence.
