BIG PAC PLANS

I had a meeting with LISA BISHOP, chairperson of PAC, and MAAUREEN, another PAC officer today. All of us sat down with JESSICA MCGLAULIN, FRANCES MARTINEZ - Parent Liason, and STACY PENA (I hope I got the name right but you know how I am) who has some new title.

It appears that as of today, JESSICA is acting Director of SPED since DR. MENINO'S last day was yesterday. The meeting went VERY well and we went over the planned agenda  of meetings for next year. Ideas were tossed around for the growth of PAC.

Everything definitely appears to be in capable hands. I've worked well with JESS in the past and I like her. I would be fine if the acting part of her title was removed. Doing so requires an interview and all that formal stuff. I know and I am definitely okay with that. What I am not okay with is if JESSICA is being used as a pawn to justify a reorganization so that a friend can be slipped into the permanent position. Besides it would have been a little more transparent to put something in writing and open to public.

Not that I can be bought, okay maybe I can, the following book was presented to all three of us plus one for another officer who wasn't there. Even parents have summer reading.
