I want to take a break from the NEW SCHOOL CONTROVERSY to spotlight something great happening at LTVI. At the SCHOOL IMPROVEMENT COUNCIL meeting WED night held before the OPEN HOUSE, PRINCIPAL BUONTEMPO announced that with the able assistance of BONNIE CARR about 65 students are placed on CO-OP's throughout the northshore area.
These placements allow students from various shops the opportunity to gain real-life learning experiances on the job and even in some cases even wages for their effort. Luckily TRIPPY (who is also on the SIC by the way) has been able to participate in this great program two days a week on alternate weeks at a radio station in Beverly.
