Dear Mayor and Lynn School Committee Members,

All of you collectively as a group deserve high praise for voting unanimously to reject the Superintendent’s proposed reorganization that would have stripped the Special Ed department of adequate leadership. This is, as you know, a very complicated department and requires close scrutiny and intense monitoring.

I would like to express an extra measure of gratitude to committee members, Ms. Coppola and Ms. Gately for their extra veracity in fighting for the protection of this significant segment of the student population.
