GENE, GENE, THE DATA MACHINE

A presentation on LPS's EXTENDED DAY PROGRAM was given to the CURRICULUM SUBCOMMITTEE by LYNN CATARIUS,Asst. Director of Cur. & Inst. for Data and Assessment KIM POWERS, Director of Curriculum and Instruction, and GENE CONSTATINO, Principal of Classical High School. An anecdotal letter by SUE GARRITY, Principal of Cobbet Elementary School was read into the record.

Basically this past year seemed to present a big improvement in participation and overall effectiveness. Through the use of the vast amounts of data collected the instruction given was specifically target to achieve maximum effectiveness. GENE went on and on about the increased use of Data and its effectiveness. He also was my ex-wife's principal but I digress.

IT DOES LOOK AS IF WE ARE ON THE UPSWING!

  1. I had the privilege of working with Gene for the 4 years my son went to Classical. He is always open to any and all ideas that will benefit his students and their success in school. He is a huge proponent of parental involvement and always looking for ways to improve on this area. He is a great leader, principal, educator and person. LPS and the staff and students at Classical are lucky to have him.
