ENGLISH TRANSLATION

Lynn English 59-49 Over Undefeated Masco: Now 21-0 Next Game Thursday 6:00pm Vs Arlington Catholic at Lynn English ‪#‎refuse2lose‬‪#‎nec‬ ‪#‎unleashed‬ ‪#‎legirlshoop‬

Congratulations are ue to the LYNN ENGLISH BULLDOGS for a GREAT season so far. But something is going on here bigger than winning a few basketball or any sports game. Now I have never met the COACH, never been to a game To tell you the truth, I've never been much of a basketball fan. Probably because I was never very good. No outside shot, in fact my inside one wasn't too good either.

I can, however, recognize a good job and FRED HOGAN has done it. His greatest accomplishments have not been on the court. It has been  his energy and mastery of the media. His relentless deiation has translated into a postiive example of how modern information technology can be applied builing a better team.

Congrats Again Girls: Lynn English is 21-0 #ProudCoach #refusetolose #legirlshoop #unleashed #nec

YOU ONLY DIE TWICE

Lynn to pull double duty on testing

Not surprisigly, I have strong reservations and trepidations about all this testing. Not only do I feel taking pne HIGH STAKES test a waste of precious class time and resoures bot taking two is ludirous. It is my what mant would call meaningless opinion that one test does not accurately measure he quality of the education or a worthwhile predictor of future performance. There are just to many variables. What you think is ausing something ould easily be caused by something else. Tell me I'm wrong I'd love to talk about it.

I just an't get over how the ED SECRETARY is on the BOARD of the ompany that makes the PARCC.

No conflict of interest here!

BEATING A DEADBEAT'S DRUM

The Mayor, she no pay
for the city's cost to play

Accoring to some report
there has been a withholding of child support.

To build up all that FREE MONEY
we've been shortchanging the schools.

How does it feel now to find .
out we've been played for fools?

OUT OF BALANCE

Too many schools are over a hundred years old.
On this our Mayor we must scold.

Because she would rather get praise
For giving some a big raise.

We'll see who loves you honey,
When we lose that Chapter 70 money.

The time is now to fret
Over school spending net.

AFTER THE LAST ABORTION

Callahan library in midst of a rebirth
itemlive.com

This welcome news! I have been screaming for years now about the importance of libraries and it's GREAT to see such PARENTAL involvement. I have plentu of friends at CALLAHAN andsomeof them even admit it PUBLICLY!

Here is a CRAZY thought. What if they took just a LITTLE portion of those MILLIONS of dollars the CITY is shorting the schools and OPENED libraries at EVERY school, FULLYstaffed and withlotsof new books! I bet there would be a LOT of money left over.

SOMETHING'S AMISS WITH OUR FINANCIAL ABYSS

When the truth finally be told
it is the Mayor we scold.

In their schooling our children will pay
so she can mae political hay.

We are about to find out what is really true
when the bill comes finally due!

HOW DOES THE MAYOR FARE IN THIS FISCAL AFFAIR?

Schools try to solve $8.5M budget gap

Cancelling meetings is a good way to ignore
the fact we need to spend a lot more.

Our students we short-change
when our budget we rearrange.

All in an effort to show
we are smarter than we know/

O what a price we will pay
when it comes JUDGEMENT DAY!

LIL'LORI IS LIVID

The Item was generous. They didn't mention the fact that FY14 deficit is budgeted to be around $17 million!! Also, what everyone seems to forget (or they just don't want to mention) is that even if this issue gets "resolved" either by the state forgiving some or all of this money, or by some other means, the fact remains that millions of dollars should have gone to our schools and didn't.

Wow...

Like @[160389977329803:274:Our Time] if you agree

ICE, ICE BABIES!

So I was wondering, if the same person who VOTED to BUS 5 year olds across town to a KINDERGARTEN CENTER was peson WHO decided NOT to treat the streets that those same children had to go home on, especially in the HIGHLANDS.

NOT ON THE AGENDA

Tonight's School Committee has been cancelled. The grownup version of a snow day. Only rain in Revere.

This is nice and all, safety first But......with the reviews and audits and all, what about a MAKE-UP day? We got BIZZNESS!

If we don't have no meetings, I guess I'll have start making stuff up AGAIN!!

PLEASE HELP!

I was wondering what the other people who ran for LYNN SCHOOL COMMITTE are doing and how they are working now to make LYNN schools better? I want to HIGHLIGHT their efforts. I sure they were all sincere dedicateed, and committed!
