BULLY ON THE BACKASH!

GUESS WHAT? They raise a good point BUT I am NOT optimistic that the MOOD of the people who control the UNDERFUNDING that exists are going to have an epiphany.

LOOKING FOR A COURT APPOINTMENT?

Last night at the NAVS game

Marian Court College | Swampscott, MA

was feautured. They had a table even. A ball was thrown out and pics were taken with CHOMPS. I introduced myself, said I wrote the WATCH.

The person was polite but probably genuinely unimpressed. Perhaps I could have achieved that if I told her about how I used to put diapers on CHOMPS I would have garnered more RESPECT and ADMIRATION.

Anyway, I got a FREE t-shirt found out there gonna have an OPEN HOUSE next weekend and did you know about 49 kids from Lynn go there?

I looked at their campus and now I am thinking about looking at backpacks and flip-flops. For more info about the OPEN HOUSE

CALL FROM THE BULL PEN

The WATCH has become SIGNIFICANT. True to his word, Congressional candidate RICHARD TISEI called me this morning to talk about his views on IMMIGRATION REFORM.

Given all of the attention being generated around the UNACCOMPANIED MINOR problem and how it affects LPS, his views are important for the district. I profusely thanked him for actually returning my inquiries. It doesn’t happen very often. In fact, he was first at least lately. Maybe I thought I detected a little quiver in is voice. Perhaps he was a little nervous because I do have a rep for turning a phrase. Face it, many a time: THE SPIN STARTS HERE!

I have been asked about what I asked and what his position on this and that was. You know what? I don’t care. Well I mean I do but at the NAVS game I told him I was interested in one thing – the UNACCOMPANIED MINORS as it relates to LYNN SCHOOLS. Besides I only have so many minutes a month on my phone plan. I am not good talking anyway.

To make a short story even shorter, he agreed with the efforts of our MAYOR and would work to help steer funding this way. Let’s be honest who wouldn’t say that? Yea, sliced bread is a good thing.

Okay, now we begin to get in to the MEAT of the exchange. His answer would be a two-pronged attack. First he would secure the borders. He really never said how he would do that or where the money to do that would come from. That’s gotta mean a lotta money for the BORDER PATOL agents (or whatever GOVERNMENT agency has morphed into). Have I ever told you my uncle retired from the IMMIGRATION DEPARTMENT? He had a pretty good job there, traveling across the country and a few others across the border. He even taught SPANISH.

The next prong would be to treat contiguous and non-contiguous immigrants the same. Everyone would be required to go through the same process. Sounds fair, good even.

BUT…..

let’s think about what that REALLY means. Pretty much eliminating the REFUGEE status or at least redefining it almost out of existence. Maybe the time has come to do that but lets not be afraid to say exactly what it is we are going to do.

OUR MAYOR,THE MADAM

Lynn mayor: ‘Enough is enough’

Somebody please help me. I am just an ignorant kid from the sticks so I am not familiar with all your sophisticated ways of doing things.

I was always taught when you offered services for money that was well, PROSTITUTION. Unless I read it wrong and I have been known to have done that.

Kennedy said she wished Obama would send some of that $3.7 billion Lynn’s way to help fund services for the refugees and minor children

TRANSLATION: Yous wants me to do's things for yous, I gots to get PAID. The color of care is GREEN. These MINORS need to be accompanied with  some CASH!

DEPUTY DOLLARS ALMOST DWINDLE - DOLLAR DAZE III

On a good note the total increase on the DEPUTY'S page was I believe less than $5000 due to clerical secretary's raises, I imagine as part of their union contracts. Two CONFIDENTIAL SECRETARIES (oneeach) get to split $126,000 and coffee making skills are not required. Not as long as DUNKIN DONUS have a drive-thru.

Of course, I still don't understand the logic of putting GRADUATION and ACCREDITATION EXPENSES totaling some $40,000. At least the craziness stayed steady.

THE COMPANY YOU KEEP

All because of a noncontiguous border
Makes these UNACCOMPANIED MINORS legal sorta.

Cries to follow the law
Highlights the flaw.

Politicians jockey for position
In the same ole rendition.

While resources dry up waitin
While each side villifies their new Satan.

GROUND ZERO FOR OUR MONEY MESS - DOLLAR DAZE III

Yeah, I'm talking about the EARLY CHILDHOOD CENTER. It begins with BUSING. Everybody needs more exercise. Back in WV  I had to walk to school, up hill both ways (In WV that is theoretically and physically possible!), on crutches even in the SNOW. Not to mention I came home for lunch. See I turn ut all right. Of course there might be a heathy debate on that assumption.

Anyway,  let's get started. I can't find a line on either of the 2 pages for it on their two pages to get an idea on comparisons or any thing. However it's SAFE to say it is MUCH larger since the DREWICZ kids are going to now be bused there. Not to mention the SPED kids from INGALLS. See I am sure that these kids are bused which is on yet another page probably. I love the way money is logically justified in their minds to be hidden, oh I meant SHIFTED, frompage to page to make things LOOK better. Hard o get a clear picture if its not there. Can't compare APPLES to APPLES if where you're shopping is the VEGETABLE market.

Here'sa funny one for you, NURSING COSTS are going  up about $150,000 there for next year, That's 1 1/2 positions on one page and 1 1:1 on another. My best guess is that his INCREASE in nursing costs has to do with the addition of the SPED kids from INGALLS but it doesn't say and I didn't see any GRANTS covering these services like some of the PARA costs that were covered. peaking of PARAS, the cost for them  NEARLY doubled going from about $330,000 total (grants and regular budgeted amount) to about $620,000.

I am  glad to see they have added $1000 for LIBRARY materials there. I wonder if I'll have any books or other gifts under my TREE when I go back to VOLUNTEERING at the FORD library next fall!

PREMATURE CELEBRATION? DON'T THEY HAVE A LITTLE BLUE PILL FOR THAT?

An Education: Thoughts on the Lynn City Council Net School Spending Vote
uneducacion.blogspot.com

Good job of analysis CLEO.

WE ARE NOT ANYWHERE NEAR OUT OF THE WOODS YET!

MARSHALL MAKEOUT TITILLATING BUT JUST A TEASE

Marshall Middle School project cruising forward

Saving money, I like that. However to make it such a cornerstaone in the bedrock of the reporting on this story makes me a little suspicous. We are far too early along in this project to be putting that out there as some sort of realistic prognosis. You can't BLAME the ITEM for puting the stoty out there. I mean they have ADVERTISERS, on the other hand - I DO NOT.

Realistically it's all about the PILES now. AND THEY HAVEN'T BEEN COMPLETED YET. Hopefully they will be by AUGUST and we can avoid the CLASSICAL mistake, the gift that krrps on giving.

Do you think the people on the TITANIC worried about the color schemes of the lifeboats? Maybe some of them did and that explains a lot!

DON'T BE GROSSLY MISLED BY THE NET!

While I am happy for whatever good news LYNN gets on the spending front, it should come with an air of caution. The legislative soltion is DISCRETIONARY and I am also a little concerned that some overzealous lawyer might want to try and SPLIT hairs about what is a PENALTY and what is the actual SHORTFALL in spending.

See they said the PENALTY was only $300,000 whereas the potential reduction included and AND statement. Anywat many thanks to REP. BOB FENNELL for at least trying to do something.

HOWEVER....

I have to actually agree with some of what MAYOR KENNEDY said in one of her recent tirades back at an old LSC meeting. SERIOUS changes need to be made to the FOUNDATION NSS FORMULA. It is an illusion to put the blame entirely on RETIRE TEACHER'S HEALTHCARE. More realistic and pragmatic leeway on allowing the counting of capital improvements and other expenditures.

It's like this, a BAND-AID is only a TEMPORARY fix when the CUT really requires STITCHES!

TISIE WON'T PLAY WITH MINORS

Lynn bracing for even more new arrivals

This problem is EXACTLY why I sacrificed myself and corner CONGRESSIONAL CANDIDATE RICHARD TISEI last Friday night at the NAVIGATORS game.  Given the outcome of the race two years ago my political SPIDEY SENSES were all a tinggle with possibilities.

Granted FRASER FIELD was not a place to hold much of a discussion or even whisper sweet NOTHINGS in somebody's ear. Politicians love to alk about NOTHING. Besides CHOMPS was around bothering us, demanding to have his picture taken. So I gave RICHARD my WATCH card and he promised to call me to discuss his views in detail on IMMIGRATION REFORM.

Well he hasn't called me as of yet, LSC member RICK STARDBARD told him I had a VERY popular blog. I guess that means I am not just another pretty face.

It's only been a few days. He did give me the impression he was going to call me right away. He's probably good like that! Oh well, I guess I'll just stand by the phone or sit by it because I keep what I need in my pocket.

I know he's probably in NO RUSH since he did so WELL in LYNN in the last election cycle.

LEASE FLEECE - DOLLAR DAZE III

Again on the SUPERINTENT'S page for a moment. I didn't realize that the schools are getting less crowded. I mean why else would the line for lease of space go DOWN go down 37%?

Maybe I am looking at the numbers askew that would mean maybe I am an accountant after all. What rhymes with tax? Me, I want just the FACTS!

SUPER SUPERINTENDENT? - CROSS OVER LINES CROSSED - DOLLAR DAZE III

I am not suggesting any hanky panky, just wondering about some laundry hanging out to dry. But when you put it out in the daylight sometimes you expose the stains. It's just when other people see those blemishes it can bedown right embarrassing.

Normally you shouldn't worry about a little one. It's NATURAL, even NORMAL. However when the mark hits you in the face that's when SHAME should set in. Then again when the MARK is so big, you just got to put it out there and act SHAMELESS.

I think maybe that's what they are doing. Now I am no ACCOUNTANT just like I am no LAWYER and I'm just a POOR, DISABLED POET and I realize every profession has their own tricks of the trade that the general public are not privy to. Still there are some GROSS inconsistencies in the SUPERINTENDENT'S budget page that DEMAND explaining.

I KNOW SOME OF YOU SAY I AM CRYING WOLF AGAIN BUT ONE DAY YOU'LL BE SORRY WHEN THE WOLF IS REALLY THERE!

You see there is this line on the page, NON-CONTRACTUAL RAISES - $200,000. It wasn't there LAST year. It could well be INNOCENT but just seems a little funny to me. A word of explanation is in order. I know sometimes they dump seemingly unrelated things on certain pages but a little help here.

While you're at it do you think maybe we could get an explanation why the budget for the SUPERINTENDENT'S office went from $461,000 to $1,000,000?

Maybe it has something to do with why the HIGHEST paid city employee year after year stays that way!

THE RELIGION OF RAISES - DOLLAR DAZE III

Funny last year the salary percentage of the budget was a little over 80%. I have been told that's pretty standard, so I accepted it as financial gospel. Imagine my surprise when I did the same calculations this year and found the percentage had risen to a little over 83%.

Now since I'm pretty sure those teachers in overcrowded classrooms didn't get no 3% raise this year and all those line items for principals and administrators are the same as last year, why is that?

SOMETHING DOESN'T ADD UP BECAUSE THERE'S LESS TO ADD - DOLLAR DAZE III

I definitely need some help here understanding this.....

UNLESS.....

MAYBE.....

all of these UNACCOMPANIED MINORS there is all this TALK about actually are coming from GREAT BRITIAN or IRELAND (TOP OF THE MORNING TO YA LADDY!)

cause the ELL has been CUT around 200K about 40%

PERSPECTIVE ON PRIORITIES - DOLLAR DAZE III

The first thing that JUMPED out at me when I looked at the front budget page was that even though there was an almost 8 MILLION dollar increase from FY 114 in the TOTAL budget, ther was over a 3 MILLION dollar decrease in NON-SALARY expenditures.

This translates into about 4% less money for books, paper, pencils, or anything else that doesn't result in a paycheck.

The MAYOR'S new salary might be in them along with increased compensation for committee members but don't expect to find any new books.

HERE WE GO, GETTING READY TO START THE SHOW! DOLLAR DAZE III, THE NEW CRAZE

Bring on the Budget!
FY15 All Schools Proposed Budget (Posted: July 2014)

SCHOOL SAFTETY SCUTTLED AT LTVI?

At Thursday night's LSC'S MEETING OF THE WHOLE about the FY15 budget, member RICK STARBARD voiced concerns under his TECH hat about the ELIMINATION of key positions in the AUTO and CARPENTRY shops.

The necessity of supervision in the CARPENTRY shop is pretty obvious if you like your fingers. DIANE PARADIS at LTVI personally told RICK, he said that all required ratios would be maintained, "NO PROBLEM!".

Something RICK said about the other shop seemed to be a problem that can't be so easily discounted. You see when someone brings their car in the AUTO shop say to have their BRAKES done or say their TIRES rotated. BEFORE they "car" is returned to the CONSUMER, it has to be ROAD-TESTED by a TEACHER.

AH.....

Here is where the CUTBACKS really most hurt. Sure maybe proper RATIOS can be maintained but are you telling me that nobody doing no road testing ain;t gonna rush back to get into COVERAGE? I've worked in many a situation where ratios and coverage have been involved and seen it sacrificed many of times at the expense of safety. Here is where the SAFTETY concerns should begin.

I, personally had to supervise a DETENTION room full of a dozen DYS type adolescent boys during a school day when I worked at the ELKINS MOUNTAIN SCHOOL. The RATIO was supposed to be 3 to 1. (This were PRE-CANE days and I did used to be a BAD A$$)

#$%& HAPPENS!

KEEPING IT IN PLAY

Enjoyed last night's NAVIGATORS game and the after-party but I tried to start a little fireqorks of my own, Before the ceremonial first pitch was tossed LSC member RICK STARBARD was in attendance and introduce me to Congressional candidate RICHARD TISEI. RICK told RICH (say that three times fast) that I have a VERY POPULAR BLOG (do you see me blushing?) and I position myself as AN EQUAL OPPORTUNITY OFFENDER (Ididn't think anyone was listening to me at the DEBATES).

Well after the introductions I cornered him for a little one on one action. There is no sacrifice to great for full exposure of what LPS is working with.

STOP THAT! FRASER FIELD IS A FAMILY-ENVIRONMENT!

Anyway I wanted to know his position on IMMIGRATION REFORM as it relates to the UNACCOMPANIED MINOR proported problem at LPS. He took my cardand very personably and politely promised to personally call me to discuss it.

I BET HE SAYS THAT TO ALL THE POETS!

NEED A LITTLE SUPPORT TO SEE GREEN

We wanted to reach out and compliment all of our mentors, coaches, parents and friends who have helped us during our time in Lynn Youth Soccer develop both as people and soccer players as we embark to the next stage of our lives. It has been a great experience.
We have played soccer together in Lynn Youth Soccer our entire lives and for most of us, our incredible  journey  will come to completion at the end of this month playing in the prestigious Emerald Cup Soccer Tournament in Limerick, Ireland.
No Lynn Youth team, club or otherwise, let alone a girls team, has ever played against European Competition, representing both Lynn, MA and the United States as 1 of only 3 teams (w/Philadelphia and New York) from our Country.
We have always believed in teamwork, achievement both on the field and in the classroom and have collectively spent hundreds of hours in community service as both a team and individually.
We now ask for your support in making our dream a reality.  We are hosting our final fundraiser  this weekend and respectfully ask for your help as we are short of our goal.
Please stop by the Knights of Columbus this Saturday Night from 7:00-10pm and help our cause. Any assistance would be greatly appreciated.
Thank you,

YOUR WAY?

Congressional candidate RICHARD TISEI is going to throw out the first pitch tonight at the NAVIGATORS game. Normally it wouldn't be such a concern to the WATCH besides that GATOR thing

BUT.....

in LYNN we have either a problem or a trumped up one. I am talking about the UNACCOMPANIED MINOR one. Don't worry I've seen to it the GATOR will have a chaperone.

I am a little curious on his position.

TUNE IN LATER FOR AN UPDATE!

TEACHERS TO BE TWISTED, LPS TO CROSS THEM

"Ride, ride like the wind, you'll work for FREE again

Yeah if I heard right, when you get a NEW contract, don't plan on taking a trip on any RETRO RAISE for this year where you are working on promises.

there is "no"money for any charge to that may cover it!.

KEVIN STANDS UP SO HE CAN'T SEE EYE TO EYE WITH HIS MADAME

I know in the past I have unapolegitically called in to question the capabilities of KEVIN. As LPS BUSINESS MANAGER he had to know we have been chronically UNDERFUNDING the schools for some time. Still last night at the LSC meeting he went on record that in his estimation that the LPS budget passed last night doesn't cross the PENALTY-FREE threshold of 95% NSS.

They should have asked me, being married FOUR times, I know a little about thresholds and PENALTIES!

At least KEVIN said last night "You ain't gonna do this NO MORE at least without me saying somethin".

To this MADAME MAYOR replies "Well I got people who like my figure!".

SO I'VE HEARD, SO I'VE HEARD!

FAR FROM DONE, MY JOB HAS JUST BEGUN (DOLLAR DAZE III IS HERE)

All I can do is wait
only to anticipate,
sure to salivate.

Now that the budget has tentatively passed,
I'll get to see it at last.
Wait, not so fast.

It's the moment they probably fear most
when the FY15 they post
cause I'm on a mission to make toast.

CHUCK SLAMS MADAME MAYOR IN GRUDGE MATCH

Okay it really wasn't REAL but it is called ENTERTAINMENT.  Maybe we need to rename CHUCK, "Nature Boy", because he does have a FLAIR for the dramatic like HALL OF FAME WWE SUPERSTAR RIC FLAIR.

Last night at the LSC SPECIAL MEETING on the FY15 budget through the chair (that would be the MAYOR, JUDY) if DR.LATHAM knew what the recommendation was of the MASS SUPERINTENDENT's organization was in regards to waiving the penalty for school districts that did not fund at 97.5% of the NET SCHOOL SPENDING level was.

"Hold On there,  ATTORNEY CHUCK!" The MAYOR tried to end the match before it started with a patent FLAIR move, the FIGURE FOR. By that I mean the actual FIGURE FOR the acceceptable NSS amount. Basically she said, "First of all CHUCKLES, I want to talk LAW and this SUPER SOCIETY says 'Don't mean SQUAT' and don't be asking questions you already  the answers too since you asked the same one last meeting".

CHUCK countered with since the cameras were rolling there might be some viewers out there that never saw the last meeting, a move that SLICK RIC would have been proud of.

MADAME MAYOR screamed MERCY, "go ahead and have your little show" and stormed out of the room. I can only assume it was to make some sort of adjustment because "her panties were in a wad" after that exchange. You see she was probably also a little embarassed that she was outsmarted and fell into CHUCK'S trap on the other part of her objection on how she only wanted to talk about the law since you see the LAW says NSS spending should be at 95% at least and we are missing even that.

CHALK ONE UP FOR CHUCK.

(this post is dedicated to my childhood friend, favorite writer, and FLAIR fan, JEFF TOQUINTO, a WV boy whose work I have shared many times)

LITTLE UP FOR CHUCK

Talk about IRONY. I heard a little voice say that

Massachusetts Teachers Association has endorsed Chrigton. weird. and over gallo.

Could it be?

So they people that CHUCK sets policy and ALL THAT JAZZ for thinks he's OUT OF TUNE with their views?

KATERINA QUOTES!

Regarding the unbalanced net school spending budget & unmet prioritization on building maintenance and school supplies.
This is to help my dear friends on the School Committee further justify that you do indeed have the power to vote on, fix & prioritize expenditures on school budget requests. After a School Committee's vote on the budget, it is then submitted to the mayor for inclusion in the budget.

BETTER THAN DOUGHNUTS FOR A SPECIAL MEETING ON THE BUDGET

July 10 | 5:45 PM | Comm of the Whole and 4th Special Meeting

This SPECIAL meeting is preceded by the WHOLE!

LET'S GO FISHING -

How long has it been since I've written my councilmen about my concerns about the LPS budget and the spending priorities of raises over reading? It's been a while.I mean I know I type slow but I've shook hands with a few over the holidays - not a peep.

I AM JUST LOOKING FOR SOMEBODY TO STAND UP AND TELL ME I'M WRONG!

Over the holidays I caught PART of that show filmed at LynnCAM on building the NEW MARSHALL. The show LSC member RICK STARBARD, ISD chief MIKE DONOVAN, and MAYOR KENNEDY. I remember wen the show aired origionally not that long ago and I apologize for not staying on top of it. (I hope the Boss doesn't fire me for my slotliness.)

I gotta tell you I was a tad bit concerned fom the little bit of it that I watched. I thought I heard them say that the soccer field that was shown on the original mock-up may not be there because it wasn't considered an allowable expense. Now it may still be there, it just might be include in around 40 MILLION DOLLARS out of the 92 MILLION we are paying for DIRECTLY.

It did get me to wondering what else, if anything, was promised originally in te pretty picture that may have been more of a MIRAGE than a REFLECTION.

WE SAW THE BAIT, WILL THERE BE A SWITCH?

PRINCIPAL PICKED PROMPTLY

Superinident Catherine Latham is pleased to announce the appointment of Patricia Hebert, currently the Program Specialist at the Ingalls Elementary School in Lynn, as the new Principal of the Drewicz Elementary School.

Ms. Hebert holds both a Bachelor of Science degree and a Master of Education degree from Salem State College with double majors in elementary education and psychology.  She is licensed by the Massachusetts Department of Elementary and Secondary Education as a principal and an elementary and middle school teacher.  She received her principal license after participating in the Commonwealth Leadership Academy.  Ms. Hebert is an adjunct faculty member at North Shore Community College in Lynn and Northern Essex Community College in Haverhill.

Ms. Hebert has taught since 1997 and has elementary experience in Florida, North Carolina and Methuen, Massachusetts.  Working in the Lynn Public Schools since 2001, she has taught Grade 1, Grade 4, Grade 5 and Grade 6.  She was an elementary and middle school mathematics teacher at the Ford School and Ford School Annex and has taught English language arts, science and social studies at the elementary level.  She is a strong proponent of the philosophy that the state standards in reading and writing are essential standards that are applicable across the curriculum to all content areas.  As a member of the Ingalls Elementary School leadership team, Ms. Hebert has had extensive training in Universal Design for Learning at Harvard University, a practice-oriented program that provides a blueprint for creating flexible goals, methods, materials and assessments that enable all students to succeed in the classroom.

While at Ingalls, Ms. Hebert was a member of the Family Engagement Alignment Team, a member of the School Improvement Committee, the MCAS and ACCESS test coordinator, and an active participant in planning team meetings for students with special needs.

Ms. Hebert is a dedicated educator and a capable and committed leader who will use her extensive experience and fine leadership skills to work closely with parents in the Drewicz School community, to encourage, support and assist her teachers, and to provide an optimal learning environment and program for every child.

Not that anything of this means anything but tereis a strong COWDELL connection in play since MS. HERBERT directly served under IRENE (in case you forgot, that was my grandmoter's name) who is married to RICH over at MARSHALL. I do like RICH and since he is a certified upire I would never say anyting BAD against him less I get tossed out of the game! Just calling them like I see them.

Seriously though I do see positive things out of tis pick and her qualifications. From reports I have heard many positive things about family engagement at INGALLS and I personally have lauded lots of praise on MARSHALL'S efforts. And ten there is the FORD ANNEX history, be still my foolish heart.

LIL'LORI THOUGHT YOU SHOULD KNOW

.Lori D'Amico Even if the proposed legislation passes, the Mayor will still owe our schools millions because she has been under funding them. We just hopefully will not be hit with the penalties, but isn't that up to the commissioner? Would you give someone a break who has not learned from past mistakes and who continues to under fund the schools even after they were lucky enough to be saved by the passing of the legislation? Or would you consider it a slap in the face and feel they need to face consequences to deter them from hopefully continuing the same behavior in the future? Some of our city and school officials, including the Mayor, want people to believe that the only reason our net school spending is below what it should be is because of the retired teachers' health care costs. This is not true! Even if we were allowed to include these costs and this mess never happened, our net school spending figure was still below the required amount.

DUMP A CHUMP!

I got no favorites but somebody ought to pay (besides the other 350 school districts whose taxpayers will be supporting us) for putting LPS in te precarious position of having to beg for millions of crumbs.

Options are"

1) The MAYOR - she does have the responsibility of submitting the budget. She is te only one who can change the numbers. She just got re-elected for four more years.

2). DR. LATHAM - While she HAS to work with what she is given, she had to know te schools were underfunded and should have been squawking. And her contract is almost up for renewal.

3). KEVIN MCHUGH - Again he can only work wit the numbers he is given....BUT....doesn'the have a RESPONSIBILITY to sound te alarm? Especially since he probably is the MOST qualified in this area.     http://m.itemlive.com/news/lynn-school-board-picks-new-business-administrator/article_5688f672-741b-5740-81d9-6cb2e487bf01.html?mode=jqm

I'LL HAVE A LITTLE GRAVY ON THE SIDE

Education stipend a factor in new Lynn assessor’s salary

Following this line of reasoning shouldn't teachers be given an EDUCATIONAL INCENTIVE? They are REQUIRED to have a MASTER'S 5 years from hire. Can you imagine how much that would cost?

Boy would that bust the budget. Kind of frightening when you put it in that perspective, HUH? Oh well, we know where our priorities are, don't we?

CATHE'S SUPREME COURT CONTRAVERSY

I wish I could have made it to the interviews but that silly little thing called LIFE got in te way again. It does cause me to wonder though why the INTERVIEWS can't be streamed live. Maybe there are some areas of privacy that make it not allowed. I know our laws haven't caught up with technology. Still I bet it could be done.

UNLESS there is an ulterior motive hor keeping as many people in the dark as possible. This is an IMPORTANT position to te DREWICZ community, especially at this time when the KINDERGARTEN youngsters are going to be uprooted tis fall and placed on COMMERCIAL STREET where tere is no GRADUATION CEREMONY!

Anyway here is the list of interviews:
